In Ghana, adinkra are symbols that represent universal concepts and ideas. Here, the artisan uses symbols that represent unity, nurturing, patience, and authority and justice. He names the table Woleiatse, a Ghanaian Ga word meaning, “head fishermen.” You can remove the table’s detachable top from the base without tools for easy storage.
